About

Vadackal, by way of everywhere

Joseph Sebastian grew up in Vadackal, Alappuzha, a British citizen of Indian origin who has since lived and travelled across Kerala, Thailand, and Britain. That movement — and what it costs and gives back — sits at the centre of everything he writes.

His fiction moves between literary drama and crime, but returns again and again to the same coastline — its water, its silences, and the families who carry both.
